Written by On a recent trip to Greece I was told I had to meet Dimitris Liossis a greek gay surfer. I was also told he was one of the best BMX rider in Greece, one of the best snowboarder in Greece, skate-boarder and many other extreme sports !
Dimitri is also an artist and his latest work is a skate bowl as part of an exhibition that’s been inspired by street art and skate culture. The fully skateable bowl is pained in a style that joins graffiti and Renaissance era art seen on church domes !!
Dimitris Liosis born in 1970, studied Fine Art & Design in The City & Guilds of London and Middlesex University . He has presented his work in many exhibitions in Greece and abroad with the latest individual, Animal Exhibition , the gallery ISIDORA 2014.
